Change requires collaboration. To change the landscape of music education, requires intergenerational effort and self-reflection. As a musician, I jumped at the opportunity to craft the hero video for Hip Entertainment and Event's Band Together music education charity campaign. The final result is a portrait of three distinct artists, each who have a compelling relationship to music and impact on their communities. A scrapbook, a song, and a world of memories. When Michael and Lina break up, they must leave it all behind, but college-student, Lina, can't accept forgetting the past. After Michael adamantly returns the scrapbook she made for him, Lina must convince Michael that moving on doesn’t have to mean running away from their memories. Through its unconventional blend of music video and narrative short film, “Remember” pieces together the challenges of holding on while letting go. EXR is a film production studio I created, alongside student filmmakers, business leaders, and music industry specialists at University of the Pacific. "Remember" is our first project we released, we're excited to share what's next! As the Creative Producer, Editor, and Designer for this project, I'm responsible for leading a talented interdiscplinary team of designers, marketers, and creatives for University of the Pacific's Innagurual TEDx Event. In the short 2 months since I've been given the opportunity to work on this special project, I've done the following: • Crafting the vision statement and branding identity for the event • Desiging the theme reveal poster • Creating a strategic marketing plan and coordinating with external partners • Guiding the direction and overseeing the execution of each deliverable Through hard work and an excellent team, we reached 40,000+ accounts within 2 months on Instagram alone, and achieved an 88% surge in followers. Unreal Engine 5 environment render, my entry for the Mission to Minerva Kitbash 3D competition. Check out my work on their official website! My work is just above the judge's panel section. Created using Blender, Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Ableton Live 11 for sound design and score. Assets provided by Quixel Megascans, Kitbash3D, and Ian Hubert, concept inspired by NEOM The Line. Estimated time to complete: 180 hours

A Motion Graphic Documentary Teaser for "The Most Silent Album Ever Recorded" As the final for my Motion Design course, I challenged myself to conceptualize, write, produce, animate, edit, and sound design a compelling Motion Graphics documentary teaser about Vulfpeck, a band that generated $20,000 in streaming revenue with a silent album. Using a unique combination of mixed media collaging techniques, After Effects, and AI Image Generation, I created and streamlined an effective workflow for unique motion graphics. I later used this workflow in the Hip Entertainment Explainer project seen below. Created with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Maxon Red Giant, Adobe After Effects, DALL-E 2, Mixed Media Collaging Techniques, and Ableton Live 11.

Juhye - Hot Pocket (Official Music Video)

Created music video for Harvard-based artist Juhye with 100K+ monthly Spotify listeners, in collaboration with Record Label and Music Platform Quadio Records. This video was produced, shot, and edited within two weeks, and has since had a significant impact on her music career. With increased streams and ticket sales following the video's release, we're proud to have played a part in accelerating Juhye's music career to greater success. & Events: Wedding Explainer

A Motion Graphic Explainer for an industry-leading event and entertainment agency. With thousands of successful weddings and over 25+ years of producing hit events for clients like Google, Nike, and Amazon, Hip Entertainment & Events still gets the question - what exactly do you do? As the Creative Director, Writer, and Motion Designer for this project, I led a team of three to create a video to answer this question in a fun and engaging way. Rather than using 2D character animation generally associated with explainer videos, we wanted to create a more authentic look at Hip Entertainment through a mixed-media, wedding-friendly aesthetic. From animating photos from weddings to shooting footage of rehearsals at Hip's studio, we sought to highlight the exceptional experience Hip has delivered to thousands of wedding couples. This is an early look at the video, to be released in June 2024 through a campaign I'm developing for the project.
